Make a payment

Double-check these details against your tenancy agreement, invoice or bill. We check the format, but no one in the payment chain can verify the account belongs to your recipient, and payments sent to the wrong account are usually unrecoverable. Responsibility for the details entered is yours.
Enter the reference your supplier uses to identify this payment, e.g. your invoice number. This is exactly what they'll see on their bank statement.

Verification required

You need to complete business verification before you can make a payment.

This is required under UK anti-money laundering regulations and protects all parties from fraud and chargebacks. Verification takes around 5 minutes and only needs to be completed once.

Why do we verify? UK regulations require us to verify all businesses before processing payments. This includes checking your company details and confirming director identity. Your data is handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

Sent payments can occasionally return to Processing while banks settle.

Verify your business

A one-time check on your business and identity. Takes around 5 minutes; most approvals are instant.

Before you start, have ready A recent business bank statement (PDF); you may be asked for it at more than one step. A director's photo ID; the check arrives as an email invite completed on your phone. If you are the director, enter your own email address and complete it yourself. Some businesses are also asked for proof of the director's home address (a personal bank statement or utility bill from the last 3 months). Two questions worth knowing in advance During verification you'll be asked which features interest you: select Card payments. If asked about payment usage, select Paying for goods and services. Companies incorporated within the last 12 months are also asked how the business was first funded; you can upload the same bank statement again.

Revenue reconciliation. Expected margin is 2.05% of sent volume per month, computed from our records. Enter each remittance from the payment partner when it arrives; variances outside £1 are flagged. Expected figures are indicative — per-payment rounding on the partner side can differ by pennies, and the remittance mechanism is not yet documented by them.
